Designation :- Welding Engineer
Job Description & Requirement:-
I) Minimum Degree in Mechanical/ Production Engineering
ii) Minimum 5 Years€™ Experience as a Welding Engineer in the Field Fabrication & Welding
iii) Experience in U-stamp audit
iv) Complying with the requirements of Quality control Manual, ASME codes and Customer
specifications
v) Good Knowledge of ASME-IX
vi) Knowledge required in International codes such as ASME, API, TEMA etc
vii) Preparation and Approval of welding procedure specification (WPS), Procedure Qualification record
(PQR), and Welder & Welding operator performance qualification record (WPQ).
viii) Supervision and Qualifying the Welding procedures
ix) Preparation of Weld plan as per approved Drawing, Applicable codes and specification.
X) Preparation of TPS for welding consumables.
xii) Preparation and maintain Welder Continuity log
xiii) Preparation and issue Qualified Welder€™s List based on Welder€™s Continuity Log
xiv) Provide resolution to Non-conformities arising in welding, in consultation with MQC
xv) Overall Supervision of welding activities at Shop floor
xv) Additional qualifications required ASNT Level II in RT, UT, PT & MT.
Xvi) Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
